I've been in and around broadcasting my pro life, mostly as an audio production engineer.  And I got into broadcasting through ... wait for it ...  ham radio. Yup. Sold my gear to pay for college and let my license lapse during my working years.  I hope to 're-rig' in the next couple years.  Hope the sun spot cycle improves by then. (I still listen to HF).
