Thanks for the suggestions. GetGnuWin32 is ok for what it is meant to 
(though I myself use another tool I posted to the list once).

It is however not for my personal use I ask and I can not assume that 
all the users know (or want to know) very much about the update tool. It 
must be easy to use, inform users about update etc.

I do not believe GetGnuWin32 can fit that description, or?
