make abspath bug

The following statements generates an incorrect path:
$(warning $(abspath $(CURDIR))
$(warning $(abspath c:/windows)
The problem is that if the argument contains a drive letter it is prefixed
by the current directory. Using realpath instead of abspath generates
the same error.
