gnuwin32 gzip and file modification time on Windows 7

Hello,

is there any method to allow gzip to keep the original timestamp of a 
gzipped file? If I gzip a file on windows 7, it's timestamp is set to 
the current time and date. It doesn't help to use the -N parameter, nor 
run gzip as administrator.
