General question about using "return".

Hi Dimitris,
This is just out of curiousity about how you handle the use of
the return command in e.g. xOnRMB and xOnDoubleClick.
I have a lot of conditions in these events and wanted to skip
the rest of it when a condition was met.
I first tried "stop" but that had undesirable side effects when
the event was triggered while Gui4Cli was processing something.
Then I used "return" and I saw that this worked.
Now the question is; Is it valid to use "return" for that purpose?
I have the impression you intentionally handle this as a local stop
for the event it's used in.
