Hi Chris,


The first thing I noticed when I started using win7 was
the dull menu, no colors anymore and no control over the metrics
until I read your message.
I wasn't aware of a 'set MNTYPE XP/OLD/RESET' so when I added set
mntype xp in my startup gui all the menus that use a mnspec were
back to normal as on XP.

Setting MNTYPE to OLD or RESET changes the menus back to win7
style. Applies to Xmenu only. Whatever MNTYPE you select, the
quickmenu is always the same, no icons, no metrics and no colors.
As far as I remember that was the same on XP.
The left margin is normal, I think approx. 30 pixels wide,
also the same as on XP.
