Thanks for the quick reply.

I am using the MoveEvent already making use of xOnkey Up, Down, Left, Right and also the mouse wheel to move the images around. The only problem is the overlaping.

I already tried to make use of windows instead of images but it does not work. The puzzle is of many different colours and then it is not that easy to use the Shape event to get the needed result..

I will look at your last suggestion.

Then is it possible to simulate the Ctrl+Rmb keystrokes for moving controls quickly in code?

You can move an event with MoveEvent.

You can not have wierdly shared events (controls), only windows, using WINATTR SHAPE.

Event shapes could probably be implemented, because visual events like buttons etc, are windows themselves, but I don't see it happening. I don't know if it would be useful either. I think the way it would be done in an actual game would be to have a 3rd, intermediate image of the overlapping area, which you would draw over the 2 images if they fit together.
