About the rubber band, I forgot to say this happens in Windows XP. I still initially develop guis on XP and then check things out on Win7. I can't remember if it happens in Win7. I also noticed that some parts of the gui (like icons) in Win7 aero mode flicker at inregular intervals. Seems to be something with refereshing? It doesn't happen in XP. Chris
