Moving all user files to separate partition under windows

So far so good I've got win7 installed on a new laptop hard drive. Great.
Next step was to give my documents on a seperate partition and here I'm
having some trouble.

I've searched around for instructions on doing this and found Ed Bott's:
http://blogs.zdnet.com/Bott/?p=215 - compared to many others. But unlike his
instructions the only option I get when right click is to copy and not move.
So I've got the data for my new account moved over but not the "mark"
folder.

Is there some clever trick I missed? I see instructions like these:

but
these were both written for Windows XP.

Is there a better way do I just have to get down and dirty with regedit?
