An Acer model very similar to the one trotted out at PDC will be available
in the US soon, I'm told.  "1420P" I think is the model #.

+1 for upgrading to 7200rpm or SSD drive.

And max out the RAM.  (Remember, VS2010 will be a WPF app.)
