Sigh. I knew I shouldn't have tried to wait until after Christmas, but
I really didn't think that MS would yank it this early....

I *really* wish they would announce these things ahead of time, so
somebody could maybe plan for it a little?

Guess the wife's netbook and the other home PCs are staying at XP for
quite a while longer.
