FWIW we're almost certain to skip it for our development and will re-evaluate the situation when VS2012 arrives (hopefully with full C++ 0x compliance and the most annoying howlers from VS2010 fixed).

Until then, VS2008 is more than "good enough" in the same way VS2003 was when VS2005 (which was an equally large mess at Beta 2) arrived.
