I have owned an HP for a couple of years, and it has taken a beating and
kept on ticking.  The Dell it replaced was broken more than it worked, and
kept blowing up video cards.  If I didn't buy the 4-year total coverage, I
would have lost my shirt on repairs...

Does anyone have any recent laptops they like from Sony, Asus or Toshiba?
Preferably with a keyboard designed for regular use :-)
