Hi John, > I'm wondering if the information I am querying for (i.e. Win32_AccountSID) in this case, is returning information that is not what the wcslen( ) is expecting... Why else would the 'eos' pointer incrementation cause the access violation? Any ideas? That looks like a buffer overflow to me. Are you sure that the string you're passing to wcslen() is actually null terminated? Cheers, Anna http://www.riverblade.co.uk Skype: anna-jayne.metcalfe Twitterings: http://twitter.com/annajayne
