I used FreeMind and am happy with it (not sure that is what you're looking for). It is java but I think its fast enough for what I needed: http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page Thanks, Shawn Wildermuth <http://wildermuth.com/> http://wildermuth.com Note: This was typed on a big ole laptop so any misspellings and punctuations are completely my fault.not my phone's. Does anyone know of a good, free Concept Mapper that is specifically targeted at Windows? It doesn't need to wow me. I'm not looking for a notepad++ experience. It just has to barely do what I need, but do it fast. Labeled boxes and labeled directed edges are all I need. I looked at a number of java-based mappers today, and they were universally slow and crappy, even the ones with great reviews. Remind me to never complain about anything in the .NET world ever again. And no wonder why Unix guys flock to Apple. I would too! Thanks, Mike
