Dead Zune Club

Where does a Zune fan go when his old school Zune finally starts acting up?
 Zune HD, iPod, SanDisk?  Is iTunes really as nasty as people say?  I'm told
the iPod is actually fine for podcast listening now, and even has a radio.
 (And I'm probably several years out of date on that info.)  I only care
about podcasts, radio, and music that I already own or buy from Amazon.  I
would never use the store, sharing, games, internet, etc.
