--047d7b6d97ae03614d04e286a7bd Content-Type: text/plain; charset=windows-1252 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi Chris, I installed my compiler (MSVC 6.0 professtional) on an XP machine, then I installed Microsoft Windows CE Toolkit for Visual C++ 6.0, then I installed the SDK and other code from the CD that came with the book Programming Microsoft Windows CE and when I build any of the WinCE skeleton code the compiler generates, the emulator throws an error saying "The windows CE toolkit cannot download files to one emulator while another emulator is running. Please close the running emulator and ensure that the build is current for the new platform before trying again" But at this point no other emulator is running. Would this happen if an environment variable or two was not being set? It seems to think that another emulator is running when it isn't.
