Open Source?

I've been using PowerPro since the Stiletto days.  I just checked and the version I'm running, and it appears to be from 2006!  It's a great little program that keeps chugging along.  Thank you for that!
 

 Obviously, I'm pretty out of the loop.  But I find myself wondering, if there is (or ever was) any consideration of making PowerPro open source (or is it already and I can't find it?).  If not, why not?
