If it fails and comes back, I would guess it is interference from some other program on your system. However, Win7 does have a new feature over XP in that it stops sending hot keys to programs that fail to respond to them in time. This only affects programs which use Key Intercept Method New 2. (I use this method since it allows win+ hot keys to work more reliably). Also, it usually only happens if you run complex, cpu-intensive scripts or if you use an active bar without using the latest version and its optimizations to make active buttons more responsive. If it happens again, and the 2 conditions (New 2+active bar/scripts) of the preceding paragraph apply to you, you can check to see if that the reason for failure is a Windows cutoff rather than interference of another program by trying other PPro hot keys.
