I don't understand your question.  Is it the input field loses focus when you want it not to, or you do not want it to regain focus.   
 

 FWIW, PowerPro is trying to have the browser or any other window go back to the focus state it was in before the hot key.. That's so the hot keys go where there are expected to go.  
 

 I think the browser might do that no matter what, but since you did not mention what browser you use, I cannot be sure!  It does work that way with Chrome.
 

 Maybe you could control the focus with some kind of hot key send of tabs to move it around.  No guarntees.  You' have to experiment.
 

 Nothing I can do from within PowerPro AFAIK..
