Track Clips stops tracking often, wondering what to do

Hello, thanks so much for this great program.
It's been so very helpful over the years.

I am having a little problem in one area though.

For some reason at GUI control> Track Clips> ALL> 99
The tracking of clips stops at seeming random times.
It's intermittent. Sometimes it will go for part of the day tracking clips fine,
then suddenly for no apparent reason it will stop tracking and new clips...
and not because it has reached it's limit...here 99.

If I shut down PowerPro completely, and restart PowerPro, it starts tracking again
very nicely.

At GUI control> Track Clips>
I tried each options of text, rtf , and All, and this intermittent problem happens with each.

Any ideas for me to try, in order to get the tracking to work fine as it has for years?

Window 10 Creators.
PowerPro installed at
C:\Program Files\PowerPro\Powerpro.exe
having installed
PowerPro_Latest Unicode (5.3.37h1) downloaded on  11-10-17
which is
pwrpro5.3_37h1_setup.exe
I think some config files are located here:
C:\Users\main\AppData\Roaming\PowerPro

For a long time I've been successfully using using Crtl+Shift+V to show the clips.
At Key/Mouse> Edit hot key/mouse action
command *Clip
Clip action: menu
everything works fine as I click on the test button there.


Thanks for any ideas to try.
