Yes, I had this problem with firefox when they first did some major work on their UI a year or two ago.  It interfered with PPro hot keys due to its own incorrect processing of Windows hooks, I think (since hot keys work fine in all other applications AFAIK).. 

 You can try changing the key intercept method in ppro on key setup dialog.which may or may not help   Use new ll hook 2 (separate thread).  Also change the mouse hook intercept if you use mouse hot keys
 

 But I uninstalled firefox and switched to Chrome to fix the issue for me.
 

 Nothing I an do about it in PPro I am afraid.
