Future of Yahoo Groups

I've seen messages in other groups questioning the future of Yahoo groups now that Yahoo has another owner.  
 

 Has anyone else seen anything similar on this?
 

 I suspect there are less than 10 users of the group now so I am not sure how much interest there is in having an alternative just in case.  I've seen groups.io suggested, although the free version has a 1 Gig or so limit on files.
 

 Any thoughts?
