I forgot to ask if you meant alarm messages or script messages from MessageBox function. 

 I assumed you meant from script because I was not sure why you would want a long message in as a reminder.  So my solution is about  text displayed by a script.
 

 But for reminders, there is no way to increase the number of characters between 510 or so.  
 

 You could edit a message into a txt file and then use the name of that txt file as the command for an alarm.  That will automatically open whatever program you have associated with .txt files.
