If it only happens when FF is running, then there is some incompatibility.   

 All I can suggest is turning off PPro config features on gui tab and setup tab one at a time and seeing if there is any effect.  Also disable any *info buttons and remove active button.  Important that you do one at a time to isolate cause.  Also disable any scripts or anything running from "Open" command list on command list setup tab (if they are being used).
