currently working on a pinboard type bar where I can drop files and
other objects on the buttons and the information from the drag (e.g. the
file path) 'sticks' as the button label. By clicking the buttons while
not dragging an object, I can then perform different actions on the info

also add icons for the files to the buttons when dropping files. The
only problem is that when I drop image files, PPro uses the image as
background for the button rather than just set a generic icon file (e.g.
the Irfanview icon) like it does for non-image file types (e.g. the
default word document item for .doc files). At best, this looks off next
to other file types, at worst it makes the button text hard or
impossible to read.</div><div><br></div><div>There is an old thread where the same question was asked, but I don't quite understand the answers and am not sure if they are still current. Also, right button-dragging and going through the menu each time isn't really an option for me as it's too clumsy and I've swapped the right and middle buttons on the mouse through Autohotkey, which is preventing me from doing a right-drag from Total Commander.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Can
I somehow persuade Powerpro to use the default icon for image files
rather than peep inside the image itself? I guess I could use regex to
check for image files and then manually set the IrfanView icon, but
