Hello! I now have tried both unicode and non-unicode latest versions. The version I as on in the Win10 upgrade was 5.3.29 before. I now believe I know what the issue is. My PCF files must be too old. The original installation works just fine. The icon showing PPro is active shows up in the systray just fine. But the minute I substituted the installed main PCF with my own, or called the Notes.pcf from it, I had trouble. I was using v4.7 before and they worked there. Wonder is how it worked on the laptop at all as they don't work on this version of Win10. My question now is if there is any way to convert my old PCFs to what must be the new PPro format? It took years for me to develop both PCFs to where they are now and I couldn't begin to re-create it all. I tried opening the main PCF in a text editor, but it's one of those formats that isn't readable in a text editor, which happens. Is there a way, by any chance? Thank you! ----- Original Message ----- From: "brucexs-/[email protected] [power-pro]" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Date: 17 Oct 2019 10:26:17 -0700 Subject: [power-pro] Re: Icon disappears from status bar in Windows 10? > How do you put icons in the tray? I can launch exe files and ppro menusuusing menu show without losing icon from either visible notification area or from hidden area, using latest win10 and ppro. > > > Are the icons on the bar or on the hidden portion that you need to click the task bar ^ to see or the visible version, > > > > > What version of ppro are you running? Ctrl-right click bar, select about powrpro for best info. > > > If it is not so old that the pcf file format has changed, you should be able to upgrade and test with latest without losing a backup of current if you complex scripts or configuration that you are worred about losing in upgrade. --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus ------------------------------------ Posted by: mitchellwma1-/[email protected] ------------------------------------ PowerPro's download site: http://powerpro.cresadu.com/
