Perhaps my last message (with the list of reader requests) will
clarify what's needed.

If your view is that the shell-specific stuff is comparatively
small, then a tutorial explaining some of the basics, or simply
informing people *what* these basics are and *where* to find this
information would probably be very helpful (e.g. MSDN references
etc... ).

The list of requests seem to suggest that people are very
interested in coding for shells, but are perhaps a bit clueless
about how to get the ball rolling.

I'm sure the veterans here are thinking "It's not that hard -
just look at some source code." And maybe that works for a lot of
coders - but some people need a bit of a push.

I definitely think that with some more coding blood in the
community - we could all have a lot more fun. Too many good
projects die, or slow down because of a lack of coders.
