I just downloaded CachemanXP 1.1. Can't find anything like this in its 
helpfile

Next I looked at everyone of the 3 executables: none has a registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CachemanXP in there and none has the word 
"Shell" except CacheManXP.exe which imports SHELL32.DLL. The programs 
are written in Delphi and seem to use some Delphi classes for the 
trayicon. CacheManXP.exe is actuall a service, but Kerio Firewall is too 
and I never had a problem with its trayicon.
I have to say tho, that I don't get a tray-icon either (.7 RC1 and vtray 
1.06. So can you give us further info about your version of CacheManXP ?
