funny, I tried ubuntu (I think it was 6.6 or something like that) and 
found that it didn't seem to work, and there was nothing that my gentoo 
(or redhat for that matter) experiences could do to help me fix it. I've 
found that gentoo simply works (it is slow to start though, my first 
install took 13 days).
