I have had an idea that I'll try out when I've got other things
working. I'd like to create an xLabel that sits above or below the VWM
(assuming the VWM windows are laid out horizontally) and is the width
of one of the desktops on the VWM. I think this could be rigged up to
be draggable in desktop-width increments horizontally, and trigger a
desktop-switch when you do so. It could also listen for desktop
switches and align itself under the current desktop. (Obviously want
to avoid an infinite recursion here, though!) That way everything
works with dragging movements, which are easier to get right on the
tablet.
