I haven't touched Vista yet - nor has it been allowed to touch me. If no one 
speaks up in here, you might try posting at ls.net; there is a long thread there 
regarding Vista and the various problems (and workarounds) people have encountered.

The latest dev builds (lsdev.org) were adding in sidebar support, IIRC. You'd 
have to try one of those and see how it goes. I think I tried it with the Google 
sidebar and it worked fine, but I don't often use such things.
