Nope, I didn't even see a bear on this trip, despite the fact that I 
spent half the day Monday surrounded by tens of thousands of wild 
blueberry bushes. The bears must have been dining somewhere else. Now 
last year, cycling Skyline Drive in the Shenandoahs, I saw two bears.

Well, I'll send it to somebody for an inspection (Antoine), but you 
should probably go ahead and package it up yourself if you want to post 
this theme in a timely fashion.

Yep, no arguments here. One thing that is cool is that you can install 
MacPorts (or DarwinPorts, as I think it's now called) and then install 
open source software packages in a manner similar to that used for linux 
distros. I've got gkrellm running to show system stats, and there's tons 
more stuff out there. I just haven't had time to look at it all yet. 
There are dashboard widgets that provide some of the functionality I'm 
used to with LS, but they're not as configurable. Plus I have to hit a 
hotkey or a screen corner to toggle the dashboard. Sheesh. Too much 
extra work. =P
