I think you've probably hit the nail on the head. We really don't want to
turn our hobby into a business model for fear of ruining it or it becoming a
second full-time job. We're a community, not a company, and I think we'd be
more comfortable keeping it that way.

We do tend to be geeks. We get along best with fellow geeks. We're willing
to accept newcomers, provided they're willing to accept our geekiness and
not try to change us. I think that a lot of the dev team is using Litestep
to try out new programming techniques in a safe environment, without
pressure to "produce" something.

I think we accept that we're a niche market, so to speak, and it's a special
kind of person who even has an interest in Litestep. Trying to make LS for
the masses is doomed to failure, by the very nature of the "product". It's
TOO specialized.

That said, we could stand to make our community a little more cohesive, and
make stuff easier for us to find.
