as far as on ots3 setup, i'm really attracted to the idea of automatically
being able to download any bugfix versions of modules. I'm pretty sure this
either entails some version standardization, or something even more
unwieldy, like some sort of database. Of course you'd still need to ask the
user, and hopefully be able to provide version update info, if asked
(somewhat like ibm's update utility, which is pretty nice). There'd have to
be some way to check for updates as well, and on some schedule. The details
could be worked out later, but it's the idea that i'm enthusiastic about.
I'd be willing to help test for version compatibility as well, i think.
