I never switched to linux because Linux is a horrible interface (gnome must
die), doesn't follow its own design guidelines (GNOME HUMAN INTERFACE
GUIDELINES), most of the console programs go out of their way to be
impossible to use (undocumented features are rampant, poorly documented ones
even moreso), the only form of help support is a forum where most of my
common issues have no (or few) responses. Sufficed to say, Linux is an ivory
tower of "open source" elitism that draws people in simply because "It's not
windows". Yeah, okay, sure, it's not windows. It's worse than Windows. Linux
is still a toy that requires you to wrestle with it to do what you want, and
until the Linux developers grow up and start being serious I'm never going
to use Linux as my OS. Sure, you can use Linux, but while you're busy
customizing your compilation files I'm busy doing actual work with the
program I _DIDN'T_ need to compile.

Linux is not a productive OS. This is why I still use LiteStep and will
forever continue to do so.
