Re: ping

I started using LS because I was tired of Explorer's crashes and because 
I'd come to like the shells designed after NextStep. I was using Window 
Maker on my box at home, running Debian at the time, and I liked the 
elegance of the interface. So while looking for an alternative shell for 
my machine at the office I found LS, liked that it was modeled after 
NextStep, liked its configurability, and thought I'd give it a try. 
Happy I did. Now I run neither Explorer as shell, or Windows Explorer as 
a file manager on any MS box I need to use.
Remember when the Windows file manager was called "File Manager?" MS 
really is a marketing company first.
