haha..
I've been on this list since 1998 or 1999. I first started using LS around
b23e, I believe. I know there's at least a couple of people still around who
were here before that, but I'm not sure if they're still using LS now. I run
Litestep on my XP box (the only Windows machine I have) and wouldn't use
Windows without it. I can't stand the Windows interface.. I never have. LS
development may have stalled or slowed all around, but Litestep still works,
and it's still one of the most configurable and flexible systems on Windows.
Heck.. I'm using a build from 2003 for crap sake.

It's pretty amazing to me really.. when 2008 passed I realized it had been
10 years since I started using Litestep and hanging out on IRC and on this
list. This coming March ShellFront will have been online for 10 years as
well (not that it's used much any more.. but it's still there :P). This is
rather surreal for me. It makes me feel old, if anything :D

I've always been involved in projects online. I helped out a little with the
LSDE ("documentation effort"), took over FPN for a while, started
ShellFront, etc. Now I'm busy with photography and cars. I started a new
Pacific Northwest specific car enthusiast community site called PNWfahren a
couple of months ago, and I'm at most of the area's car events taking
photos. So I'm still as busy as ever... just moved away from having any real
involvement with open source or with LS. I have some great memories though..
and met a few people along the way like Visigoth and MrJukes. I even met
blkhawk & nexter in Germany last year. Good times...
