We use the dell installation media because it's quick and simple and does not require your to input the cd key and you can reintall on a dell machine as many times as you like. When I boot and install off the cd, it works fine. When I copy the files on the cd into unattend and do the install using the cd key in unattend.txt on the cd it tells me that the cd key is invalid. Is there something up with Dell's cds that only allows you to use that key specifically with that cd? I'm running virtually the same set-up I have each machines mac address mapped to the oem serial number on each dell in my the unattended.csv file. I Had to determine which drivers I needed to include from the dell cd when I set-it up. My guess is this is the area you are having problems with. > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > The Planet: dedicated and managed hosting, cloud storage, colocation > Stay online with enterprise data centers and the best network in the business > Choose flexible plans and management services without long-term contracts > Personal 24x7 support from experience hosting pros just a phone call away. > http://p.sf.net/sfu/theplanet-com_______________________________________________ > unattended-info mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/unattended-info ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Planet: dedicated and managed hosting, cloud storage, colocation Stay online with enterprise data centers and the best network in the business Choose flexible plans and management services without long-term contracts Personal 24x7 support from experience hosting pros just a phone call away. http://p.sf.net/sfu/theplanet-com
