I double checked the driver and it was the correct one. On the screen I hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE and got task manager and i was able to launch another cmd window. I checked and i was getting an IP. I tried the username/password for the mapping of the Z drive and it didn't work. It reminded me that i needed to include the <DOMAIN>\username as the username since i'm on a domain. Once i updated the bootdisk with that username info, it has started to work :). I must have missed it reading through the tutorial. I currently still have the 'reboot for hardware changes' in the background but that isn't a huge deal since the updates continue to work and after the first reboot that goes away. Thanks again for the help.
