Sure. Things such as:

- Balloon tips
- Win2k/XP compatible task dialogs (we used a sample from CodeProject for
that one)
- Sorted virtual listviews (our solution for that one is in the files
section here) 
- Doc/View (needed for one of the projects we're porting; I wouldn't use it
otherwise!)
- Various other custom controls
- Context help
- Path and string handling (though much of this is lacking in MFC too)
- Threading (a more flexible thread pool and alternatives to CMutexLock)
- Vista style dialogs (see the Manual Analysis dialog on
http://www.riverblade.co.uk/products/visual_lint/screenshots.html for an
example)
- Simplified ActiveX hosting (this is just a wrapper class, really)
- Menus with a modern lock and feel (still to do)
- Docking windows (still to do, but there is an accepted third-party
framework for this)
- UI enable/state management (the raw WTL solution is rather limited. This
one's still up in the air).

Much of what we've found we needed is out there *somewhere* but in many
cases it requires shakedown/modification to fill in missing functionality
(as with the Doc/View stuff or UIEnable) or significant time/risk to get up
to speed with (e.g. Docking Windows).

I hope the above helps a little.

FWIW Visual Lint has been entirely a WTL project from the outset;
LintProject was ported from MFC to WTL some time ago (and has since evolved
into LintProject Pro) and we're now porting ResOrg from MFC to WTL using
some of the experience/libraries developed for Visual Lint.
