Subclassed edit control paint problem

I've subclassed a listview control and I'm trying to enable subitem
editing so I've also subclassed an edit control and catching
WM_WINDOWPOSCHANGING and WM_WINDOWPOSCHANGED in the edit control to move
it into position. This all works great but the editcontrol box is not
painted correctly and looks like the text area extends through the right
hand side of the box.

Does anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong, at first glance.
I can post the code too, but I thought I would take a shot with the
pictures first in case it was something obvious I was missing.
