transparent PNG for toolbar

Hi and happy new year!

I want to make my toolbars look smarter so the ALPHA wtl sample looks just the ticket.

I would prefer if the toolbar was sourced from a PNG instead of a BMP to save a bit on size. How can I convert the PNG into an imagelist preserving the alpha channel? (the equivalent of CreateSimpleToolBarCtrl)
