I understood that you referred to WTL Wizard, I got same version of Wizard mentioned by AR but the issue that I found was that when I tried to build the project it did not find automatically the WTL Header files and manually I had to include the Headers, so I thought it was same issue that you had, probably my misunderstood was in that item. that is why I did that workaround mentioned in previous mail.

I see your doubts have been clarified.

I think you misunderstand me.  I can build WTL apps in VS2010. 

I would like to be able to use the WTL app wizard to generate new WTL apps in VS2010.

The WTL app wizard is documented in the second of Michael Dunn's excellent articles on WTL for MFC programmers.  Check it out:

The WTL appwizard is installed by running setup90.js in the WTL81\AppWiz folder.

I had modified this file in order to install for VS2010.  However, using the VS2010 IDE, the app wizard fails to create new WTL project as I described earlier.

I don't know enough about what goes on under the Visual Studio IDE to be able to resolve this issue and wondered if anyone else had solved this problem yet.

I can correctly reference WTL in existing apps and build / modify them in VS2010, but I just can't create new ones.
