   It probably didn't come with your Linux distribution.  It probably
wasn't built by default with the XFree86 version RH9 is using.  I've got
one you can use at:

http://www.xfree86.org/~mvojkovi/libXinerama.so.1.0

Stick it in /usr/X11R6/lib and run ldconfig.
