Hi, I need to execute my program when Xserver is loaded( ie when we type startx from text mode). So can anybody specify the shell script into which i can incorporate my executable, so that whenever Xserver is loaded my application also runs during the loading. I tried to incorporate my executable in /etc/profile file but it works only when your runlevel is 5 during booting ie in /etc/inittab ur runlevel is 5. So what is the option for me to run my executable application when my starting run level is 3 ie textmode so that my application runs when Xserver is loaded. Please suggest me some solution, which script can be edited to load run my executable application after
