ReadInput() stops working

Hello,
   
  I have developed an XFree86 input driver for a touchscreen. On touching the screen on certain points, the driver stops working i.e. at points where the ymin, xmin, ymax & xmax values are exceeded. The ReadInput() is not called again and the session has to be restarted.
   
  Can anyone suggest a way to solve this problem? Can xf86XInputSetScreen() solve this problem?
