After taking a bit more of Alan's time (off the list),
I finaly decided to tail XFree86.0.log, and saw that
the problem actually wasn't with the trident, but with
my fontpath settings.

So, XFree-CVS works perfectly OK with the trident Ciberblade/i1
onboard card I have (MSI-6368).

(And again another happy luser).
