There's an "FpDelay" option in recent versions of the driver from Alan's
site:

	Option 		"FpDelay"               "-2"

That option lets you tweak the display a few bits left or right (-3 to
+5 or something as I recall).

But the display on my laptop is shifted beyond the limits of that
option, so the issue is deeper (at least on some laptops).
