Hello, can someone please help me out. I changed my drive and copied all
files partion to partion and I think I got it all. But only one thing
seems to fail. X dont start from the reason that is can't find any fonts
and is says it probably due to something in fonts.conf But every file
related that I compare is exactly the same. (I've modified fstab after
the change since partion numbers where different)

I've been looking around for information on this dilemma all day witout
success. I'm very greatful for any tip to make X run again, I kind of
miss it. Is there some documaentation explaining how to set Fontconfig
up? I installed RH9 when it was relesed and did not give this any
thought back then.

X starts okej but stops since it cant find any fonts, example:

[root@gnugen root]# redhat-config-xfree86
No fonts found; this probably means that the fontconfig
library is not correctly configured. You may need to
edit the fonts.conf configuration file. More information
about fontconfig can be found in the fontconfig(3) manual
page and on http://fontconfig.org
